Tommy Gainey shot a final round 60 to win the?McGladrey Classic.

Bishopville, South Carolina's?Tommy "Two Gloves" Gainey?has finally done it. The 37-year old shot a course record 10-under par 60 at Sea Island to pick up his first win on the?PGA Tour?at The McGladrey Classic.

Gainey, who?ended up -16 for the four days,?rallied from seven shots down on the final day to win by one shot over David Toms. Gainey said, "It's been a hard year for me, and finally, we got it right."

Gainey's back nine was amazing. He shot seven consecutive 3's on his scorecard, ending up with a 29 over those final nine holes.

Gainey turned pro in 1998. He spent several years on smaller golf circuits, including the NGA Hooters Tour. Gainey goes by the nickname "Two Gloves" because he wears two gloves on the golf course. It is a habit he developed as a youngster playing baseball.

Two Gloves attracted national recognition on Golf Channel's "Big Break IV." He was a factory worker for A.O. Smith Corportation, wrapping insulation around hot water heaters, before he decided to turn pro.

Gainey will get a check for 720-thousand dollars for his win at St. Simons Island, Georgia. The victory earned him a trip to Kapalua in January for the Tournament of Champions and a two-year exemption on the PGA Tour.
