SIOUX FALLS, SD (AP) ? The Federal Emergency Management Agency says it will extend the deadline on flood insurance claims.
Sen. Tim Johnson says FEMA increased the time for policyholders to file a proof of loss claim from 60 to 120 days.
Johnson says the extension is welcome news and says flood victims have enough to worry about without having to rush to meet the deadline.
