Deer hunting is a popular sport among both men and women as well as teenagers. Before one is allowed to hunt, he/she must take a hunter?s safety course. These courses are sometimes offered to the children at school but they can also be found at some location in your community. They are usually advertised in the newspaper, on the television or on the radio. Along with hunting comes the need to buy a lot of gear. Aside from a gun or a bow, there is a wide variety of clothing one can purchase. There is always the need for boots, camo outerwear and head wear. Hunting is available in all states though it may vary when you are allowed to hunt according to each state. Popular hunting dates include the first day of buck season, the first day of doe season and the first day of turkey season. These dates are so popular in some areas that the children actually receive a day off of school.
