Who doesn?t want to look good? If the urge to attract and impress the opposite sex is overlooked, the need to look good is always there. It may be even attributed to the natural tendency of a human being to try appearing tidy and presentable at least on the surface. Now when it comes to looking pretty, hair is the second best area to concentrate after face, as it equally interests both men and women. And it?s not a big surprise that the products available in the market for hair care are nowhere far behind compared to the facial ones, neither in number nor in quality. Well, it?s only natural for one to be confused by the multitude of products to be chosen. So the big question is which type of hair care products to use?
Now before the big question let?s get a smaller one cleared up. What is it that the hair products do in general? Well the basic motive has been and continues to be is to make the hair strong, lustrous more importantly to help it stay in its natural color. Other luxuries like making the hair smooth look full, color it in a near-natural way etc are added advantages of these products. Now reverting back to the previously mentioned big question-what to choose and why?
Before making a choice it?s more or less necessary to know what kind of products are available and what are they made up of. Everything available for hair care can be broadly classified as organic and inorganic, based on its composition. Now scientifically speaking inorganic products, available in plenty, are made up of petroleum-based polymers, silicones, synthetic chemicals and colorants that may invariably cause scalp irritation, dandruff or even hair loss. On the other hand, Organic Hair products contain natural plant ingredients that are believed rightfully to nourish, balance and moisturize hair without the unwanted baggage of harm to the scalp. If recent studies are anything to be believed, there is an increased chance of losing hair or encountering problems like dandruff when using chemicals on a daily basis. Speaking about hair-related problems like dandruff, these are the reasons which people tend to give for their compulsion to use inorganic products. And in order to get the quick results that these inorganic products promise, one tends to use them excessively and regularly which results in more unwanted effects than the other way round. Naturally one would be pondering -why choose something that harms, may be not now but in the long run? This is where the organic products take an edge. Organic products apart from avoiding any kind of unwanted side-effects also have the moral edge as they don?t cause environmental damage unlike inorganic products. And it goes without saying that people tend to prefer something that is more of a natural creation or a byproduct instead of something with sleight of man?s hand involved.
